Inside the simulation

How TycoonMonth works

The story improvises. The rules do not.

1

One private briefing

Each day opens with an opportunity, an obligation, a temptation or a crisis, built around your identity and your current position. The engine — not the model — decides which kind of day it is, so a month never collapses into thirty consecutive disasters.

2

Three real choices

Every option maps to a small set of visible effect profiles drawn from a fixed table. The AI can phrase a choice; it cannot invent money, move a hidden score, or decide your ending.

3

A deterministic close

Effects, market movement, cash flow, interest, drift and forced liquidation settle in a fixed order. The same seed and the same choices reproduce the same result, exactly.

4

A month that never breaks

If a model is slow or unavailable, a hand-authored scenario carries the day and it costs you nothing. If your credits run out, the run waits — saved on that day — until you come back.

What the engine guarantees

  • Money is stored in whole cents. No rounding drift, ever.
  • The AI can only reference effects from a fixed, tested table.
  • Settlement order is fixed and versioned; old runs stay reproducible.
  • Every change is labelled with the rule or market draw that caused it.
  • A day that fails our quality bar is never charged.
